Order flowers for our Spring Concerts today!
On March 28th – 31st, 2025, the students of the Seneca Valley Choirs in grades 8-12 will have the opportunity to travel to Dallas, TX. The cost of this trip will not exceed $1,660 per student. This trip price is all-inclusive, covering transportation, hotel, all meals, event tickets, security and performances.
Safety is of the utmost importance to us. Be assured that your son/daughter will be chaperoned, and our days will be full of performance opportunities and activities, both educational and fun.
In order for your child to participate in this trip:
Both you and your child must read and sign the attached commitment letter. Please complete one commitment letter per child attending this trip.
Trip Commitment Letter and initial deposit check for $335 are due by October 10th, 2024, to your child’s chorus director or mailed to: SVCB, P.O. Box 1597, Cranberry Twp. PA 16066. All payments must be in the form of a check or money order made payable to SVCB or via Zelle transfer. No cash will be accepted.
In addition, you must complete the online 2025 Trip Registration Form
You understand you are entering into a contract with our travel company for the full amount of the trip. The SV School District and the SV Chorus Boosters are not authorized to issue any type of reimbursements or refunds. SVCB CANNOT REFUND PAYMENTS FOR ANY REASON.
Fundraising and Payments
Each student will have a trip account, which must be kept up to date.
We will provide multiple fundraising opportunities throughout the year. (You are not obligated to fundraise.) Funds raised through any fundraiser will be allocated to your child’s trip account after the fundraiser is complete.
Account balances will be posted in each chorus classroom. It is the responsibility of each student to check this account and inform parents of any payments that are needed to keep the account current. Building treasurers will send emails to parents with account balances prior to each payment due date.
If you have a problem making a payment, please contact your building treasurer, the SVCB Treasurer or the Trip Coordinator to discuss your situation.
Please include your child’s name and grade on the memo line of the check.
If you have more than one child going on the trip, please write separate checks for payments to ensure proper credit to the student’s account.

Trip Insurance
The trip price does not include trip insurance. While this insurance is not required, it is recommended in the event your student is unable to go on the trip. Payment for trip insurance is made directly to the trip insurance company. Do not send a payment for trip insurance to the SV Chorus Boosters.
If you wish to purchase the optional “cancel for any reason” policy or want to have pre-existing health conditions included in the standard policy, you must purchase a trip insurance policy within 14 days of the date on your deposit check. Standard trip insurance is available any time prior to 30 days before the trip departure date. Trip Insurance Application
Any student feeling ill prior to departure will not be permitted to attend this trip. Students are also required to meet certain standards set by the school district regarding attendance, behavior and grades. If they do not meet these requirements, they will not be permitted to participate in the trip. In these situations, trip insurance will be the only option to get a refund of any money you paid out-of-pocket for this trip. SVCB will not refund any payments made. Any portion of the trip paid for with fundraised funds cannot be included in a trip insurance claim.

The Mandatory Parent/Student Trip Meeting will be held on March 18th, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. in the IHS Auditorium to present our final itinerary and packing list. All students traveling on this trip and at least one parent / legal guardian must attend this meeting. This meeting will cover final trip details and students will meet their trip chaperone.
Updates about the trip will be posted on the Band App, the SVCB website and emails from the directors.
